CBT Test and training – from £90.00 for Standard CBT. Every day,7 days a week,Not part time like most other trainers,Riverview set the standards other trainers do not achieve,"RIVERVIEW" Are the"P" in Patience with our customers. Our customers with little or no road knowlege must have read and understood "The Highway Code",
CBT Compulsory Basic Training is required for anyone wishing to ride a motorcycle on public roads. At 16 years old a CBT Test pass will allow you to ride a moped or scooter up to 49cc with L Plates. At 17 years old a CBT Test pass will allow you to ride a motorcycle or scooter up to 125cc with L Plates.
At Riverview we can enter you for your CBT training and test within 48 hours of you contacting us. Most importantly a CBT is one of the documents you are required to produce when you want to take a Ministry of Transport Restricted Access or DAS Direct Access motorcycle test. A CBT test certificate is valid for two years.
Restricted Access Test and training .
At 17 years old and having passed your CBT Compulsory Basic Training, you can take your Restricted Access Test which will allow you to ride a motorbike or scooter up to 33 brake horse power with no L Plates. We can offer Restricted Access Test and training within days of you first contacting us and regularly have candidates sitting their test within a week of picking up the phone. Between passing your CBT Test and taking your Restricted Access Test you will also be required to pass the Ministry of Transport Theory Test which consists of 50 questions and 14 video clips. Riverview Rider Training can advise you on the best way to approach and pass your Theory Test and help you gain that all important pass.
DAS Direct Access Test and training .
From 21 years old and having passed your CBT Compulsory Basic Training, you can take your DAS Direct Access Test which will allow you to ride a motorcycle or scooter of any size with no L Plates. As with the Restricted Access Test, we can usually place Direct Access candidates on a training course within a matter of days and have them taking their test shortly after. Refresher Courses .
We offer motorcycle refresher courses for riders who have passed their test, but wish to brush up on their road craft and ensure they get the most out of their motorcycling. Perhaps you have had a short break from motorcycling, or perhaps you just want to get that little bit more from your bike.
Whatever your requirements we can take a refresher course as far as you like and every refresher course is designed bespoke to suit each individuals requirements. Suffice it to say, a Riverview refresher motorbike course will put your mind at rest and help keep you safe on the road.
Enhanced Rider Scheme
The Enhanced Rider Scheme is a DSA post-test training scheme primarily aimed at Direct Access big bike riders who want to take their training that little bit further. At the end of your Enhanced Rider Training you will receive a DSA Certificate of Competence - Enhanced Rider Bonus and should be eligible for an insurance discount.
The Riverview Enhanced Rider Scheme is a popular post-test option for the more serious biker. It will help make you an even better rider, develop your road craft and help keep you safe.
ROSPA Advanced Rider Scheme
For the very serious motorcyclist we also offer the ROSPA Bronze, Silver and Gold training courses and examinations. For DAS Direct Access big bike riders who want to take their motorcycling to the ultimate level, this is the big one. A Riverview ROSPA training course will help develop your riding skills to a level which should far outweigh your highest expectations and take your skills onto yet another level.
